The ACU tennis teams both earned a spot in this weekend's
Division II Regional Tournament. The women, who are coming off a Lone Star Conference Championship last weekend at Eagle Tennis Center, will host the regional matches while holding the No. 1 seat; the men, who finished second in last weekend's LSC tournament, captured an at-large berth in the Regional Tournament.

At-large bid gives ACU ticket to regional

The ACU softball team gained an at large bid to the NCAA Division II South Central Region Tournament in San Angelo on May 7.

The Wildcats thought their season was over after being knocked out of the Lone Star Conference Postseason Softball
Tournament.

"We were just hoping that the girls' hard work would pay off and that the people in the region would grant us the opportunity," head coach Chantiel Wilson said.

Soccer concludes intramural season

ISC and Alpha Kai Omega won, respectively, the men's and women's intramural outdoor soccer Champ League championships Thursday, and the Mighty Gophers and the Outdoor Club won the Rec League titles.

In the men's Champ League final, ISC defeated Hispanic Panic in a sudden death shootout.
