Men’s basketball came off a tough road trip to win 80-71 this past weekend against Lamar University. Freshman Jaylen Franklin continued to dominate the conference with 27 points, while fellow freshmen Jaren Lewis and Hayden Farquhar combined for 20 points. The women’s basketball team pushed its winning streak to 14-straight games with a 90-62 win over conference opponent Lamar. The Wildcats are now 9-0 in the Southland and are 18-2 overall, with their last loss coming against Texas Tech on Dec. 2. Video/Editing: Daniel Zepeda

The university has been working to remodel Christian Village senior citizen living center as sophomore housing for the Fall 2016 semester.
The ACU organization known as LYNAY partnered with the Christian humanitarian group, Global Samaritan to help package over 50,000 servings of food. The food will be traveling to refugee camps located in Iraq and hopefully Jordan. Video/editing by Savanah Silva
This week on the JMC Network Newscast…First, a look at the annual MLK march, next students get to experience some winter fun with an outdoor ice rink, then a look around the ACU sports world, followed by a concert from Judah and the lion and finally the new intramural rugby team.
The softball team will have a new look in 2016, and it starts with newly renovated Poly Wells field. ACU made the transition to an all turf field this offseason, along with fixing up the dugouts and adding new windscreens.
The campus organization known as collegiate entrepreneurs put on a benefit concert with Judah and the Lion headlining. All proceeds went back to the group to help fund their Spring Break mission trip to Honduras.
