Former Wildcat Danieal Manning and Bears coach Lovie Smith have a special relationship that stems from their East Texas roots.
Some questions have been raised as to whether Johnny Knox celebrated prematurely on his 102-yard kickoff return. Replays show that the ball may not have crossed the goal line before Knox tossed it over his shoulder. Bears coach Lovie Smith was quick to point out that the Lions didn’t try to challenge the play.
